The Seahawks play dirty. I don't like that at all. You could see those guys hitting away from the play, throwing punches after the tackle, picking fights, they just play dirty. I hope Atlanta ends up in the Superbowl. And I hope RG3's knee is going to be okay. I really like Alfred Morris. It was killing me to be for the Redskins, but I thought those two guys are worth cheering for no matter whose team they're on. Big G told me about Morris's car today. It's a story worth reading. Maybe they'll go all the way next year.
I made more Homesick Texan food for supper tonight. Corn chowder with jalapeno, bacon, onion, cilantro. It was delicious. And she says it's even better the second day. Which is good because we've got something going on almost every night this week. Tomorrow L gets his PSAT scores and there's a meeting at the high school in the evening to go over how to read them. (I spend enough time at work on the College Board website that I could probably figure it out on my own, but we'll go anyway.) Then there are basketball games Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We're supposed to take Big G's mom out for dinner on Tuesday. And we have ukuleles and choir on Wednesday. I'm not sure yet what's going on Saturday, but there's something, I'm sure.
I tried on the hamburger sweater even though it's still a little damp. It's excellent. I think it's my new favorite sweater. I hope it's dry by morning so I can wear it to work. (Pictures when Little G gets home to take them.) I started Stephen West's Gyllis today. I'm using some left over Cascade 220 Superwash in a color that reminds me of dijon mustard. I think it will be really nice. And I'm already planning the next sweater after that. Still trying to squeeze in a little reading time too.
The best thing about this week is that yoga starts up again. Can't wait to go tomorrow even though I'm sure I'll be sore by the end of class.
ETA: I just noticed that LJ decided that I was "infuriated" when I wrote this post. I didn't choose that, and it won't let me delete it. Weird.

I do not like cilantro. Bu I wish I did, since so many good recipes seem to call for it. I omit, but I think it lacks something. But, what can you do?
These kids are growing up too fast!
